The first deadline to register for participation in the fifth European Universities Games expires on January 15.
According to initial estimates, the largest sporting event in Europe from July 14 to 27 in Belgrade will set new records in the number of athletes – academics, and interest in competitions in the Serbian capital is huge despite the corona virus pandemic.
All interested athletes – students can register for competitions in badminton, basketball, 3 x 3 basketball, beach handball, beach volleyball, chess, football, futsal, handball, judo, karate, kickboxing, orienteering, rowing, rugby 7s, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, volleyball and water polo.
EUG 2021 will also host competitors in table tennis, while sitting volleyball will make its debut in the competition as a demonstrative sport. A total of 21 +1 sports discipline will be represented in Belgrade.
